Robert F. Klueger (J.D.; LL.M.) is a Certified Tax Law Specialist (State Bar Board of Legal Specialization) and is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell (highest possible rating). He is the author of numerous books and scholarly articles on asset protection and tax planning. His published books include Buying and Selling a Business (John Wiley & Sons, 1988), Mergers & Acquisitions, a Practical Guide (Executive Enterprises, 1989), and A Guide to Asset Protection (John Wiley & Sons, 1997). His latest book, Asset Protection, will be published by Entrepreneur Press in May 2008. His article entitled Practical Considerations in Asset Protection appeared in the July 2003 issue of the Los Angeles Lawyer. Mr. Klueger is one of the very few private attorneys in America who has argued a tax case before the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Klueger is a frequent lecturer on asset protection for the California Bar Association and various other groups. Jacob Stein (J.D.; LL.M.) is a Certified Tax Law Specialist (State Bar Board of Legal Specialization) and is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell (highest possible rating). He is the author of numerous articles on asset protection and tax planning, and is the author of Asset Protection Planning (Education Foundation, 2007), currently in its 5th edition, and Advanced Tax Planning Techniques (Education Foundation, 2007). Mr. Stein's article Building Stumbling Blocks: A Practical Take on Charging Orders appeared in the October 2006 issue of RIA's Business Entities Magazine and is considered the seminal article on the topic of LLC charging orders. His June 2006 article Advanced Asset Protection and Tax Planning with LLCs appeared in the Los Angeles Lawyer and is used by many attorneys as a guide to planning with LLCs. Mr. Stein is one of California's best known attorneys, teaching dozens of legal seminars each year on the subjects of asset protection and advanced tax planning. He is an adjunct professor of taxation at the CSU, Northridge Graduate Tax Program, and has been an instructor with the California CPA Education Foundation, National Business Institute and Lorman Education Services for many years.
